Meet Dr. C
I am a physical therapist, exercise physiologist, faculty member, and clinical educator who is passionate about educating patients and clinicians about physical therapy, movement, health, fitness, and wellness.
I believe 100% that health is achievable for everyone given the right knowledge and action plan. I am dedicated to connecting with all my patients on the five key elements of health - MOVE, FUEL, RECOVER, ENDURE, CONNECT - to help you achieve your health and rehab goals.
My physical therapy treatment methods are innovative and cutting edge. Aside from traditional manual therapy and strength training, I offer blood flow restriction (BFR) therapy. I am also a clinical leader and educator on this treatment, having created a continuing education and certification course for clinicians called Modern Strength Training.
In addition to owning my own practice, I am a full-time Lecturer and Exercise Physiology Program Director at my alma mater, the University of Massachusetts Lowell. My research interests include blood flow restriction (BFR) therapy, pain science, health promotion and disease prevention strategies, population health, and how physical activity impacts memory, cognition, and academic achievement.
Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, two sons, and dog. I am an avid cyclist, run occasionally, and like to get my hands dirty in my vegetable and flower gardens. I have a good sense of humor and challenge you to give me your best one-liner. I am proud to live and own a business in Amherst, NH.
