In today's episode, I wanted to take the time to discuss lumbar mobility. I have spent a lot of time discussing the importance of lumbar stability to power development and overall back health. This is mostly due to the fact that lumbar stability is the hardest thing for patients and clients to master - we just don't do it enough through the day!
But lumbar mobility is important as well - depending on the context or situation. And it is important for us to make sure the body understands that the mobility is still needed. If we focus too much on stability, mobility can become a painful stimulus to the brain!
